apprehended a Hampton man who fired a gun in the parking lot of a Yorktown
Walmart during a road rage incident. This incident happened on October 2 at the
Walmart at 2601 George Washington Memorial Highway. York County and the City of
Poquoson Sheriff Ron Montgomery reported that two vehicles were involved in the
incident, one appearing to be chasing the other. At least two shots were fired,
and at least two spent rounds were found in the parking lot before the suspect
fled. It's good that no one was injured by the shots fired, and Sheriff
Montgomery expressed relief that no one was hurt since the incident happened in
the middle of the day.
